Huzzah.

Yesterday, Allie, Jaime, and I went up to the Harry Potter party, me wearing my purple sequined witch hat, and we participated in the festivities. Getting our Maurader's Map stamped, answering HP trivia ("Bulgaria!!" "Oh good, I didn't know that one!") Chatting it up w/ Stoughton Megan and Steven/Ron. Megan R. joined us after we'd searched for Steven/Ron for an hour. When the trivia ended, we looked in Payless, and then had our own party in Marshalls. Then we got bored and talked in the parking lot. I got hungry, so I went to McDonalds for fries and a neopet. Yay kacheek! You are my favorite of the real life plushies.

Today, I must go up to Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy of Harry Potter (unlike other people, who are already done.) Then I'll force myself to finish the Purgatorio before I start HP. I've only got three cantos left, so it's not too bad.

I like thinking about where I was the last time I was reading HP (I only started reading them right before the 4th one came out). For the 4th one, I was going into 8th grade, Booboo was still alive, I was a CIT at the Y, and from 5 to 6 every day, I'd sit outside and read because I didn't have to deal w/ little kids anymore, but still had to wait for Mumma to come pick me up. For the 5th one, we were in the apartment, I was gonna be a junior, I was about to go to camp for three weeks in VT, I was co-leader of TPG, and we had Booboo and Allie. Now I'm sitting in our nice new house, I'm moving to FL for college in a month, I can drive myself to Barnes and Noble, I'm leader of TPG, and only Allie is here. It's crazy how much different two years can be.

Well, I guess I'll go get that book now.
